Invertible defects and isomorphisms of rational CFTs

چکیده
Given two two-dimensional conformal field theories, a domain wall – or defect line – between them is called invertible if there is another defect with which it fuses to the identity defect. A defect is called topological if it is transparent to the stress tensor. A conformal isomorphism between the two CFTs is a linear isomorphism between their state spaces which preserves the stress tensor and is compatible with the operator product expansion. We show that for rational CFTs there is a one-to-one correspondence between invertible topological defects and conformal isomorphisms if both preserve the rational symmetry. This correspondence is compatible with composition. ∗Emails: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]

Isomorphisms in unital $C^*$-algebras
It is shown that every almost linear bijection $h : Arightarrow B$ of a unital $C^*$-algebra $A$ onto a unital$C^*$-algebra $B$ is a $C^*$-algebra isomorphism when $h(3^n u y) = h(3^n u) h(y)$ for allunitaries $u in A$, all $y in A$, and all $nin mathbb Z$, andthat almost linear continuous bijection $h : A rightarrow B$ of aunital $C^*$-algebra $A$ of real rank zero onto a unital$C^*$-algebra...
متن کاملDuality and Defects in Rational Conformal Field Theory
We study topological defect lines in two-dimensional rational conformal field theory. Continuous variation of the location of such a defect does not change the value of a correlator. Defects separating different phases of local CFTs with the same chiral symmetry are included in our discussion. We show how the resulting onedimensional phase boundaries can be used to extract symmetries and order-...
متن کاملA non - rational CFT with central charge 1
Two dimensional conformal field theories with central charge one are discussed. After a short review of theories based on one free boson, a different CFT is described, which is obtained as a limit of minimal models. We will be concerned with unitary two dimensional conformal field theories. Such theories describe, for example, critical points of equilibrium statistical mechanics systems in two ...
متن کاملRATIONAL ISOMORPHISMS OF p-COMPACT GROUPS
A rational isomorphism is a p-compact group homomorphism inducing an isomorphism on rational cohomology. Finite covering homomorphisms and nontrivial endomorphisms of simple p-compact groups are rational isomorphisms. It is shown that rational isomorphisms of p-compact groups restrict to admissible rational isomorphisms of the maximal tori and the classification of rational isomorphisms between...

By using the notion of fuzzy functions introduced by Dib and Youssef, we obtain fuzzy analogues of some results concerning ordinary functions. In particular, we give the definition different from one of invertible fuzzy function introduced by Dib and Youssef. And we show that the two definitions are equivalent. Furthermore, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy increasing functions and fuzzy isomo...
